The young Artiste born Isaac Kwame Ayi Kwao got his stage name Stone Gee coined out of a nickname given to him by his own father, Mr Kwame Akwetey for his physical strength. He started rap from basic school and with the help of his boss Pagasty owner of the High Moral Studios who recorded good sounds for him, he got connected to Koo Ntakra who won the third edition of MTN-HITMAKER.
This connection was what enabled him to participate in the sixth edition of the reality show. Stone Gee have got songs like ‘Samsung’, ‘Dada Sark’, ‘Baby Whatsup’, ‘I love Mama’, and ‘See Them’. Stone Gee’s song ‘Dada Sark’ was done to pay homage to known Artistes like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and others.
According to Stone Gee he is currently managed by I-CODE-ENTERTAINMENT and he is the only Artiste on the Label for now. Stone Gee in his interview accused Koo Ntakra of saying wrong things about him to another Artist he Stone Gee met in the one recording studio sometime back and this has generated a ‘beef’ between himself and Koo Ntakra and this is what lead him to do the song ‘See Them’ subtitled ‘Letter to Koo Ntakra’. He is however, ready to do a professional work with his colleague Koo Ntakra anytime.
The promising talent assured his fans of more shows and performances this Christmas. He ended this interview with the hit track ‘Rap Attack’ produced by MonStar. Stone Gee granted this interview to JayRad on the Liams Dryve some 10 minutes ago.
